The Earth is Speaking

Dear Friends,

Welcome to my blog: The Earth is Speaking. I am really excited to begin sharing here on this new platform. I of course will continue to share on my socials as well but it feels good to also have another space to express some of my more intimate experiences that I feel do not belong on places like Instagram or Facebook. This blog will be dedicated to the Earth and more specifically, the Amazon Rainforest. I plan to share stories of the Mystery, Magic, & Profound Healing that I experience and that is present in Nature to inspire and promote Reconnection, Preservation, & Reforestation. I also pray that the experiences I share here inspire you to develop or deepen into your own relationship with the Earth & Elements.

The truth is, the Earth is always speaking to us. The question is, are we listening? She has all the answers to the questions we ask, the remedies to all the illnesses we develop, the guidance that we need in order to live in a balanced & harmonious way. She is the unconditionally loving parent we needed growing up. She is the beauty, the magic, the powerful force of nature that holds & loves humanity through it all without expectation of anything in return. She is here to teach us to walk in a good way, to clean our spirits of that which no longer serves, and to guide us back home to the truth of who we are, and the ultimate truth of love and unity.

When humanity remembers to return to the Earth, to ask questions, to listen, to pray, to take action on her behalf, all harmony will be restored.

The Patterns that are Present

When we look at nature we can recognize the many patterns that are present. Whether it’s the patterns in the leaves & different plants, or the patterns of the seasons and cycles of life, death, & rebirth. All of this mirroring back to us from a more expanded perspective, the patterns & cycles that make up the cosmic web of life, sound, our own bodies, our consciousness, & our reality.

Our life is a series of patterns made manifest. Our thought forms, our habits, our choices. We are weaving our web of life into form with the things we consciously or unconsciously choose to empower with our energy on the daily.

Who are we, without the patterns & cyclical thought forms that we’ve adopted or been conditioned to give our energy & power to throughout our life?

How can we no longer identify with the limited thought patterns in the mind? But simply sit behind them & be a witness to what has been.

How would you choose differently if you became aware of your patterns & the way you are weaving our reality into form? What patterns & thought forms would support you in creating the life you desire?

Weave your life with love. Paint beautiful patterns into reality from your spirit. Break free from the patterns that are no longer life giving, & watch as your life transforms.

In the Presence of Love, We Transform

It is in the presence of love & safety that everything unlike love itself, rises to the surface to be gently integrated & released.

During my most recent time in the Amazon I had a large open wound on my ankle. When I started my master plant Dieta, I realized that this open wound was symbolic to the woundings that had been recently brought to the surface within my own internal world.

During my Dieta the tree I was dieting took me on a journey of learning to love the woundings within that had been arising. I quickly recognized they were simply parts of myself that had gone into hiding and were buried beneath shame, protecting me from ever having to face the pain of rejection ever again.

But this time it was not possible to stay in hiding. The light of love was too strong. The sense of safety too real. Cutting through my perfectionism & performance until I was naked and vulnerable, with no where to run or hide. Love found me in every state, and in every place. I even tried to hide under my poncho one evening in ceremony when I was gently tapped on the shoulder by the spirit of the tree I was dieting and she whispered to me “You can not hide from love”.

Only when it became clear that there truly was no place to hide, that all of me was seen, and yet I was safe, accepted, and held in compassion in the midst of it all, did I realize, I am loved. Unconditionally. Without reason. Forever. I cannot reach for it or grasp for it. I cannot push it away. And I most certainly cannot hide from it. It is simply truth.

This opening excavated the painful stories of unworthy & unloveable at their root. Dismantling their dominance in my psyche. Being replaced with new seeds being planted of love. Of truth. Of the I AM presence.

Allowing in love at a whole new depth also allowed me to also meet the edges of the sense of unworthiness that had kept me from loving all parts of me in the past. I got to see the conditioning of the unworthiness and how it was planted in my being from past experiences by how these parts of me had been met by those around me who clearly couldn’t love me because they did not love themselves. I also got to see how in past relationships I had begged my partners to love these parts of myself but they simply could not. Looking back, I can see clearly that they were simply reflecting back to me the lack of self love I was embodying within.

Sometimes when our woundings come to the surface, we believe something is wrong. When the woundings within are raw & open & the shadows that were previously hidden beneath shame are illuminated by the light of love, it can feel confronting. We can feel broken. Wrong. Embarrassed. Hopeless. But the truth is, this is the moment when true transformation & integration can finally happen.

We must be courageous in our hearts, willing to finally show up and meet what has been hidden in the darkness with our love & compassion. Gently embracing the pieces & parts of ourselves that we had previously learned to reject, hide, and burry. Not just for ourselves, but so we may have the capacity to do the same for those around us as well.

It is in the presence of our love & compassion, that these parts slowly begin to shed the layers of shame & unworthiness they once laid beneath and come back home into our hearts.

These parts were never wrong, never bad, never not enough. All they ever needed were our love & compassion.

And yet, sometimes as the light of love comes in to soften the edges of these places within our hearts & liberate us from our prior limited conditioning & stories about these parts, we can also met the edges of our own unworthiness. Sometimes we may even desire to continue to hide in what’s felt comfortable. But the truth is, we can not hide from love.

To recognize & remember that we are forever loved by God/Goddess/all that is simply just for existing, not for achieving or being anyone or anything, excavates at the root outdated stories of any parts of ourselves or others being “unloveable” in any way.

We are not broken. There is nothing to heal. Nothing to get rid of. Nothing to fix. Nothing to desperately try to change with our own will & way. But everything to simply love. And through the power of this love, is when true transformation can occur.

During these strong times on our planet, the invitation & medicine is to stay rooted in love & compassion as much as we can. Do not turn away from any of it. Feel the grief fully & choose to love it all.💗🙏🏻

The Spirit of the Grandfather Tree

Honoring the Grandfather Tree🌳🪶

Last November while in dieta in the Amazon I was going for a walk around the property when this tree called out to me.

His energy was so strong I felt a bit nervous as I got closer. I approached him slowly, feeling how powerful, how wise, how absolutely ancient he was.

He demanded respect. I asked permission to get closer, to touch him, to sit in his energy, & offered him the rest of the tobacco in my rolled Mapacho I had with me.

It was a yes. He had a message for me. “Do not doubt your path. Do not let anything anyone else has to say make you doubt your path. Walk forward fearlessly. Claim who you are here to be.” I felt the strength & certainty in his message - cutting through my self doubt & inviting this strength & certainty within my own heart & spirit.

Although this is not a tree I have dieted, in this moment, I felt as if I received him as my ally. To this day, his spirit comes to me in moments of self doubt, grounding me, reminding me to stand strong on my path, & to anchor in to greater certainty.

Later that day I shared my experience of meeting this tree with my brother Juan Carlos and was excited to hear more profound stories of this Grandfather Tree & how he has protected the land at Inti Yacu for many years in mysterious ways.

On my last night in the jungle in November I awoke to hear this tree singing beautiful healing melodies. I was totally in awe.

Being back in the Amazon for a month this May/June & getting to reconnect with this tree was such a gift. We had many sweet visits again. My favorite were getting to slowly stumble through the jungle as the sun rose & the birds sang in celebration of a new day, to offer my purge bucket to him. I continue to be in awe of his power, protection, & great wisdom.🙏🏻🪶🌳

The Spirit of the Guacamayos

Finally having a moment to reflect on a very special experience I was blessed to have a few weeks ago. In the midst of making this post I’m feeling overwhelmed with deep emotion & gratitude for my life & for the opportunity to spend time on this land that feels more like home than any other place on Earth to me.🦋

A few weeks ago I set my alarm for 4:00am (which if you know me - is VERY early for me😆) It is only for something like this I would get up at such an absurd time. But truly I was so filled with excitement the night before that I only slept 2 hours & waking up early was no problem.

We began our hike deep into the Amazon until reaching the small hut that we would hide in for a few more hours until the Guacamayos landed across from us. It is in this spot that they come down to eat the sulfur which is what gives their feathers their bright colors.🌈

We waited patiently & very quietly. Barely moving, speaking, & being very aware of our energy in order to not scare the guacamayos away as they are very sensitive creatures.

They flew above us for some time. Their incredible calls raising our frequency & transporting us into another dimension. The experience I had being surrounded by their noises reminded me of similar experiences I have had swimming with dolphins. I feel both of these creatures come from a very high dimension & are ancient and sacred sound healers.🦜

They finally landed & we took turns watching carefully from between the openings of the tiny hut. There was so much excitement & awe that took some effort to contain in order to not scare them away.😆

Words truly can not capture the experience of seeing these incredible creatures close up in the wild but I can share (maybe you can also feel from these videos) that they carry a profound & special frequency & wisdom. They are sacred guardians of this jungle.🌳

They carry powerful transmissions & reminders of how to maintain a heightened perspective as we navigate life, inviting us to see things from a Birds Eye view. They invite us to release our struggle & allow life to be easeful and graceful, just as they navigate the skies above & so much more!🪶
